ABOUT ME

A qualified NCTJ journalist, a writer and an author with degree in Philosophy

I have numerous articles published across a wide-range of media titles, both in print and online. Publications include The Guardian, Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Southall Gazette, Eastern Eye, Holy Moly, Playboy and Time & Leisure.

A number of my articles have gone viral, creating international debate on social media platforms and broadcast media. I have been interviewed on London Radio by Paul Ross and BBC Asian Network.

My article, ‘A dirty secret called grief,’ published by the Guardian, is being used in university modules as part of the curriculum and in professional mental health environments.

I have been a freelance writer for ten years, as well as writing articles, I have published interviews with household names such as Barry Humphries, Lenny Henry, Omid Djalili and Roger McGough.

My debut novel, The Waiting Room, is in its final draft and I am currently seeking a publisher.
